Description AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi informasi yang maju semakin pesat, menyebabkan berbagai instansi atau lembaga mengubah cara kerja mereka dengan teknologi yang berbasis digital, termasuk perpustakaan. Ini menjadi tantangan bagi lembaga atau instansi perpustakaan untuk meningakatkan sumber daya manusia karyawannya yaitu pustakawan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pelatihan kepada para staf pustakawan agar mereka menguasi kompetensi dan kemampuan terhadap teknologi informasi untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada pemustaka dengan membangun perpustakaan digital. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah memberikan gambaran terkait kompetensi yang harus dikuasai oleh pustakawan dalam mengelola perpustakaan digital di zaman serba canggih ini agar perpustakaan tersebut tidak tertinggal dan habis dimakan zaman.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Pustakawan, Perpustakaan Digital, Pustakawan, Teknologi Informasi. AbstractThe development of advanced information technology is increasing rapidly, causing various agencies or institutions to change the way they work with digital-based technology, including libraries. This is a challenge for library institutions or agencies to improve the human resources of their employees, namely librarians. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training for librarian staff so that they master the competence and ability of information technology to provide the best service to users by building digital libraries. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the competencies that librarians must master in managing digital libraries in this sophisticated era so that these libraries are not left behind and run out of time.Keywords: Librarian Competence, Digital Library, Librarian, Information Technology.
