Description Abstract: Weeding library material is an effort to remove the collection from the shelves because there are not too many copies, there is already a recent edition and the collection is not relevant. These collections can be given to other libraries, or destroyed to make more paper. By weeding this library material, the library aims to maintain the updates, activeness and benefits of the collection which is a reflection of the aims and objectives of the library. Weeding must be done regularly and continuously, at least once every five years for book collections.Keyword: Weeding, Library ColectionsAbstrak: Penyiangan bahan pustaka atau Weeding yaitu upaya mengeluarkan koleksi dari susunan rak karena tidak diminati terlalu banyak eksemplarnya, telah ada edisi terbaru maupun koleksi itu tidak relevan. Koleksi yang dikeluarkan ini dapat diberikan pada perpustakaan lain, atau dihancurkan untuk membuat kertas lagi. Dengan melakukan penyiangan bahan pustaka ini perpustakaan bertujuan untuk memelihara ke update an, keaktifan dan manfaat koleksi tersebut yang merupakan refleksi dari sasaran dan tujuan perpustakaan. Penyiangan harus dilakukan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan, minimal lima tahun sekali untuk koleksi buku..Kata Kunci: Penyiangan, Koleksi Perpustakaan
